Hyundai, Kia recall around 20,000 vehicles due to software issue related to parking brakes


The recall affects 10,729 Ioniq 5s and 9,014 EV6s

Hyundai and Kia have recalled around 20,000 Ioniq 5 and EV6 electric vehicles due to a software snag which could potentially cause parking brakes to disengage and present a roll-away risk, CNET reported on 18 May.
