Mercedes-Benz subsidiary LICULAR to license battery recycling technology from Primobius
The two-stage technology will be used to recover materials for reapplication into Mercedes Benz EV batteries
Primobius, joint venture between Australian minerals company Neometals and German plant manufacturer SMS Group, announced via press release on 11 March that it had signed an MoU with battery recycling company Licular (wholly owned subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz) for the development of a circular and sustainable raw materials supply chain.
