Volkswagen signs agreement with Mahindra to share MEB electric components
M&M intends to use VW’s modular electric drive matrix (MEB) electric components that include electric motors, battery system components, and battery cells to build a range of EVs
Indian vehicle manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) has signed an agreement with Volkswagen Group to explore the use of the German carmaker’s MEB electric components for building electric vehicles, the two companies said in a joint announcement on 19 May 2022. The two companies plan to evaluate the scope of collaboration, the joint statement said Thursday.
