Equipment of proprietary semiconductors is expected to help the Chinese automaker weather the industry-wide chip shortage crisis

Joint venture between SAIC Motor, General Motors, and Liuzhou Wuling, SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) announced via press release on 14 May that its first proprietary electric power steering (EPS) controller had rolled off the production line.
