Rivian recalls 500 R1T e-pickup trucks in US over faulty front airbags


Rivian’s supplier has assumed the cost of seat replacement

Amazon backed US-based electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, Rivian Automotive has announced a recall for around 500 Model Year (MY) 2022 R1T pickup trucks in the US citing front airbags issue which may not deactivate when a child is siting in the front seat, Reuters reported on 12 May.
