Demand for laser headlights will grow strongly over next five years
Demand will be driven by fitment in more premium models from D and E segments
Lasers are used to complement LED high beams, which helps in increasing the range of headlights by up to 50%. That is why many premium OEMs are equipping laser diode headlights in their higher trim as an optional or standard feature.
