Ford recalls over 250,000 units of Explorer SUVs in US over driveshaft issue
Recall is specific to Ford Explorers with hybrid technology and Police Interceptors
Ford Motor Co. has announced a recall for more than 250,000 Explorer SUVs citing a faulty driveshaft when parked into shift can roll away unexpectedly, The Associated Press reported on 29 April. The roll away is caused by rear axle horizontal mounting bolt that may fracture and cause the driveshaft to disconnect.
