The Thai government has offered USD5.65 million from its budget this year to support the development of the zinc-ion battery development

Thailand plans to promote zinc-ion battery technology to support transition to EVs in the country, according to a report filed by the Bangkok Post on 21 April 2022. The country plans to set up a zinc-ion pilot battery plant to develop and nurture the zinc-ion battery technology as it aims to utilize its vast zinc resources.
