South Korean consortium, Indonesian state-run companies to cooperate on a USD9-billion project to set up EV battery supply chain

A consortium from South Korea led by consumer electronics and battery giant LG has signed an agreement with the state-run companies in Indonesia for a project worth USD9 billion to establish an EV battery supply chain in the country, a report published by The Korea Times on 18 April 2022 said, citing an LG group company.
