Ford inks lithium supply deal with Lake Resources in Argentina
Move is in line with growing demand for mobility technologies
Ford Motor has signed a preliminary deal to purchase lithium from a Lake Resources facility in Argentina, Reuters reported on 11 April. The development marks the first time Ford has announced its source for the electric vehicle (EV) battery metal, according to the report.
