Government of India releases revised consolidated guidelines for EV charging infrastructure

The newly revised guidelines are exhaustive and include provisions for individual owners of EVs as well as for the public EV charging stations

In a strategic announcement on 14 January 2022 to promote the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in India, one of the largest passenger car markets globally, the Union Ministry of Power, Government of India (GOI) said that it has promulgated the revised consolidated ‘Guidelines & Standards’ for EV charging infrastructure.
