Lithium-sulfur batteries are known for offering higher capacity and have sustainability advantages over the other lithium-ion batteries as Sulphur is far more abundant than cobalt

Researchers at the University of Michigan have demonstrated that a network of aramid nanofibers, which are developed from recycled Kevlar material, can enable lithium-sulfur batteries to overcome their biggest shortcoming of cycle life, according to a Green Car Congress report published on 12 January 2022.
