LG Chem and LG Energy invest USD50 million in battery material start-up Li-Cycle


The investment is conditional upon an agreement that will require LGE to send Li-Cycle battery scrap and Li-Cycle to send LGE and LGC nickel sulphate

Canadian Li-ion battery recycling company Li-Cycle announced via press release on 14 December that it had entered into a manufacturing scrap supply and off-take agreement with battery material manufacturer LG Chem and EV battery cell manufacturer LG Energy.
