Micron to expand chip production with USD150 billion in capital spending over coming decade


US chipmaker wants government support to build factories

According to a Bloomberg press release dated 20 October, Micron Technology Inc., the only remaining major US maker of memory semiconductors, said it will spend USD150 billion over the next decade and wants government assistance to ensure the investment is made in the United States.
