Chipmaker Infineon plans 50% investment boost


Infineon said it will invest approximately EUR2.4 billion

According to a Reuters press release dated October 6th, German chipmaker Infineon Technologies plans a 50 percent increase in investments next year, boosting its shares as it looks to benefit from soaring demand and a global semiconductor shortage.
