BPCL plans to upgrade 7,000 fuel pumps across India with multiple offerings including EV charging stations

Indian government-backed oil and gas company, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) plans to add 1,000 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the ‘short-term’ to tap new business opportunities and as a ‘hedge against displacement of auto fuels’, BPCL chairman Arun Kumar Singh told news publication Economic Times on 28 September.
