Mercedes-Benz acquires stake in EV battery JV Automotive Cells Company
Partnership aims at joint development of cells and battery modules that meet the high energy density, charging power, and performance requirements
German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz has acquired an equity stake in European battery cell manufacturer Automotive Cells Company (ACC) to secure and scale up the development and production of high-performance battery cells and modules, the company said announced on 24 September.
