Michigan plans to build first road to wirelessly charge EVs

The inductive vehicle charging pilot program is a partnership between Michigan Department of Transportation and the Office of Future Mobility and Electrification

While addressing the participants in the opening ceremony at Motor Bella on 21 September, Michigan’s Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced that the state will soon see nation's first wireless charging infrastructure on a public road.
