Ford to invest another USD250 million at Rouge EV Center to add capacity of F-150 Lightning


Ford, which claims to have accepted more than 150,000 reservations for the F-150 Lightning pickup trucks to date, now plans to expand production capacity to 80,000 units per year

Ford Motor Company plans to invest an additional USD250 million and add another 450 direct jobs across its facilities located in Michigan, including the Rouge Electric Vehicle Center, Van Dyke Electric Powertrain Center and Rawsonville components plant, the company said in a press release on 16 September.
