Continental's sensIC project integrates printed electronics into rubber

The project will equip hoses used for the thermal management of vehicle batteries with integrated temperature sensors

German automotive parts manufacturer Continental announced on 2 September that it had initiated research project sensIC at the Center for Functional Printing Technologies in Freiburg, Germany toward integrating rubber components with sensor technology.
