General Motors to replace battery modules in Chevy Bolts to mitigate fire risk


The speed of battery module replacements in Bolt EVs will depend on the availability of modules, GM said

General Motors plans to replace the batteries in its existing electric car fleet of Chevrolet Bolt, offering customers a new 8-year, 100,000-mile warranty, according to a report filed by EV news publication Electrek on 16 August.
