US Commerce Secretary expects government funding could generate USD150 billion in chip production

To increasingly attract semiconductor manufacturing and reduce its import dependency, a bipartisan group of US senators have proposed a 25% tax credit to the companies setting up their production facilities, Reuters reported on 17 June.
