Toyota launches PROACE battery electric panel vans in Europe

Vans offer 50 kWh, 75 kWh lithium-ion battery options, with up to 330 km driving range; covered by eight-year/160,000 km warranty

Toyota has introduced its first zero emission, battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) in Europe, called Proace Electric and Proace Verso Electric, according to a company press release. These light commercial vehicles (LCVs) range from medium-duty vans to people carriers seating up to nine. The models offer a driving range between 230 km and 330 km, with charging times of less than one hour (to 80% charge), and an eight-year/160,000 km warranty as standard.
