New anode material makes batteries more powerful by increasing energy density and improving the fast-charging capability and energy efficiency

Evonik has developed a silicon-carbon composite anode material, Siridion Black, for lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries, the company announced in a press release on 25 February.
