POSCO plans to expand cathode plant in South Korea


To invest about USD248 million in expansion

POSCO Chemical Co., an affiliate of South Korea's steel major POSCO Group, is planning to invest KRW275.8 billion (about USD248 million) to expand its production capacity of cathodes, a key component for electric vehicle (EV) batteries, in South Korea, Yonhap News Agency reported on 23 February
