Hyundai signs MOU with partners for EV battery leasing business

New business will include the rental of electric taxi batteries and the sustainable reuse of EV batteries in energy storage systems (ESS)

Hyundai has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with South Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy as well as Hyundai Glovis, LG Energy Solution and KST Mobility for launching the electric vehicle (EV) leasing business, the company announced in a press release on 18 February.
