Subaru cuts production in Japan amid shortage of semiconductor parts

Japanese automaker also plans production suspension at its Indiana plant in US

Subaru suspended manufacturing operations at its plants in Japan on 15–16 January due to interruption in the deliveries of certain components using semiconductors, the automaker said in a press release. The company’s operations was disrupted at its Gunma manufacturing plant.
