EU, UK agree for 12-month grace period on rules of origin paperwork

Exporting companies will still be required to comply with rule of origin during the grace period

The UK and European Union (EU) have agreed to a grace period of 12 months to produce the documentation related to the rules of origin of products that allow zero-tariff access between the two markets, according to the Independent reported on 1 January.
