The Alliance for Automotive Innovation (AAI) has released a four-year roadmap to guide federal government policies that can facilitate testing and deployment of automated vehicles (AVs) in the United States. The roadmap includes 14 recommendations under three pillars: reform regulation to allow AV deployment at scale; harmonized federal, state and international policies; and lay a foundation to achieve longer-term objectives.
