For lighting suppliers, government restriction and decline in component demand are the main reasons for suspending or reducing production.
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak has become a global crisis since its onset in late 2019, affecting almost all countries and economies with over 2 million people directly infected by the virus worldwide at the time of writing. In affected countries, manufacturing operations have been suspended, thereby putting the global economy under a tremendous loss. No industrial activity has been unaffected from it, including the automotive sector.
