Electric vehicle (EV) startup Byton has furloughed nearly half of its employees working at its headquarters in Santa Clara, California, United States, because of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) virus pandemic, news website electrek reported on 21 April, citing a Byton spokesperson.
