COVID-19 pandemic: Ford, FCA, Toyota extend production suspension at North American plants


Ford hopes to resume operations in the US as early as next week

Automakers in North America have announced further extension in production suspension in response to a sharp increase in COVID-19 cases. In a press release issued on 26 March, Ford said it was aiming to restart production at select plants in North America as early as next week.
