COVID-19 pandemic: Brose to stop operations at most European locations from today


Company sees dramatic decline in orders as a result of interruptions in production at many of its customers’ sites

Brose has announced that it is stopping work at most of its European plants to prevent spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the company said in a press release on 26 March. The company’s executive management reached agreements with work councils to stop production at all German sites until at least 19 April. The agreements comprise short-time work and temporary shutdowns which will be implemented on a site-by-site basis from today (27 March).
