COVID-19 pandemic: Ford to extend North American plant closures beyond 30 March


Apart from North America, Ford has also suspended manufacturing operations in South America, Europe, India, Thailand, Vietnam, and South Africa

Ford is reassessing its plans to resume manufacturing operations at its North American facilities on 30 March as it had earlier expected, and is likely to extend it beyond that date, as the automaker has seen a sharp increase in confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the last few days, the automaker said in a press release on 24 March.
