COVID-19 pandemic: Renault, Toyota, GM, Ford suspend production in India


These OEMs join Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, and Mahindra who have previously announced production suspensions at their Indian plants

Renault, Toyota, Ford, and GM have announced production suspension at their plants in India to prevent the spread COVID-19 pandemic. In a press release issued on 23 March, Renault said it temporarily halted production at it’s Alliance manufacturing facility, Renault Nissan Automotive India Private Limited (RNAIPL) in Chennai, Tami Nadu.
