COVID-19 pandemic: Nissan suspends production in US, announces further measures for European operations


Company says suspension at Sunderland plant in UK will now continue until further notice

Nissan announced that it will temporarily suspend production at its manufacturing facilities in the United States starting 20 March through 6 April due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, the automaker said in a press release on 18 March.
