Sales remain stable at USD102 billion

Bosch’s sales remained stable at EUR77.9 billion in the financial year ended 31 December 2019, the Germany-based automotive supplier announced while releasing its preliminary financial results on 29 January. Sales, after adjusting exchange rates effects, declined 1.1% year-over-year (y/y) over a year ago. The company’s EBIT dropped by 44.4% y/y to EUR3 billion, resulting in EBIT margin of just under 4%. Sales in the Mobility Solutions sector, which caters to the automotive industry, reached EUR47 billion and remained almost at the same level a year earlier.
