Corporate developments

Mobileye also enters a long-term cooperation with Daegu Metropolitan City in South Korea to deploy mobility-as-a-service (MaaS) based on its self-driving system

At the CES 2020 last week, Mobileye announced that SAIC Motor will use its Road Experience Management (REM) technology to map China for Level 2+ automated driving vehicle deployment, Mobileye said in a press release last week. SAIC will use Mobileye’s REM mapping technology on its vehicles. These vehicles will contribute to Mobileye’s RoadBook by gathering information on China’s roadways and help the Israeli firm in creating a high-definition (HD) map of the country which can be used by vehicles with Level 2+ and higher level of autonomy.
