Given the unmistakable benefits of a highly integrated electric drive, the growth in its adoption could be as fast or faster than the overall EV adoption globally. IHS Markit forecasts integrated electric drives to be the dominant technology by 2025, overtaking standalone electric motor setup

Automakers are employing a number of methods to make EVs more efficient, including innovative materials for building the vehicles and various cell chemistries for better battery systems. Another technology that is gaining traction in the industry is the highly-integrated electric powertrains.
