Urges investors to invest in factories to produce battery chemicals as well as factories that make batteries

Indonesia plans to start producing lithium batteries for electric vehicles (EV) in 2023, along with factories that produce chemicals in batteries, according to a Reuters report on 10 December citing the country’s minister of Energy and Mines.
