FCC votes to split 5.9 GHz band for C-V2X, Wi-Fi

Seeks comment about retaining 10 MHz for use by DSRC or dedicate it for C-V2X use

The Federal Communications Commission has voted to split the 5.9 GHz band for Wi-Fi and cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) uses, in a statement made on 12 December.
