Together, GM and LG Chem will invest up to a total of USD2.3 billion in the new JV company

General Motors (GM) and LG Chem will set up a new joint venture (JV) for producing electric vehicle (EV) battery cells in the United States, the automaker announced in a press release on 5 December.
