The state government to offer INR100,000 as an incentive to shift to electric vehicles

The West Bengal state government has planned to phase out diesel taxis and replace these with electric cabs or e-cabs in a bid to phase out vehicles emitting noxious smoke, according to a report last month by ET Auto citing a senior official.
