Hyundai Motor Group, Aptiv form JV to promote development and commercialization of Level 4/5 autonomous driving


The equally-owned JV aims to have a production-ready autonomous driving platform available for automakers, robotaxi service providers and fleet operators by 2022

Hyundai Motor Group (HMG), the parent company of South Korean automakers Hyundai and Kia, has reached an agreement with Aptiv to establish an autonomous driving joint venture (JV), the two companies said in a joint press release on 23 September.
