Volvo debuts new T5 Twin Engine hybrid system in XC40 SUV
Automaker now offers plug-in hybrid versions across its entire product range
Volvo has launched its new T5 Twin Engine hybrid system in the XC40 compact SUV, according to a press release by Volvo Cars UK today (11 September). The hybrid powertrain features Volvo’s new 1.5 L three-cylinder petrol engine combined with an 82hp electric motor to deliver power of 262hp, which is the highest in the XC40 line-up.
