Denso joins ‘Mobility Open Blockchain Initiative’

Denso has joined ‘Mobility Open Blockchain Initiative’ (MOBI), a consortium dedicated to innovating mobility services through leveraging advanced blockchain technology, the leading Japanese supplier said in a press release on 12 August. As a member of the consortium, Denso will help lead the Connected Mobility and Data Marketplace (CMDM) Working Group which will focus on building standards and policies for the applications of blockchain in automotive-related settings. Roger Berg, vice president of North America Research and Development (R&D) at Denso will serve as vice-chairman of CMDM Working Group.
