Commits to reduce the quantities of lead in the company’s electronic components beyond statutory requirements

Continental is planning to reduce the amount of lead used in its electronic components to meet legally prescribed maximum quantities in accordance with the End of Life Vehicles Directive by European Union, the company announced in a press release on 9 August.
