Porsche recalls 7,517 vehicles in US over airbag ECU problem


In affected vehicles, airbag ECU may have a defective power supply capacitor that can result in airbag deactivation or inadvertent deployment of the airbags

Porsche will recall certain model year 2016-2017 911 and Boxster and 2016 Cayman and Panamera vehicles in the United States to fix problem in airbag electronic control unit (ECU), according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
