Japanese supplier reaffirms full-year 2019 financial guidance

Yokohama Rubber has reported 6.2% year-over-year (y/y) decline in net profit to JPY16.7 billion in the first half of the financial year ended 30 June 2019, the Japanese tire-maker said in a press release on 8 August. The company also reported 4.7% y/y decline in operating profit to JPY25.1 billion and 27.5% y/y drop in business profit to JPY17.2 billion. Yokohama witnessed in earnings despite slight improvement of 0.5% y/y in sales revenue to JPY311.1 billion.
