Fiat Chrysler starts building new assembly line at Turin plant in Italy to produce Fiat 500 EVs


Production of the new 500 BEV expected to start in second quarter of 2020

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has started building a new assembly line at its Mirafiori plant in Turin, Italy to manufacture all-electric Fiat 500, Reuters reported on 11 July citing Pietro Gorlier, FCA’s chief operating officer for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
